Emovis highlights free-flow innovation at IBTTA Technology Summit in Orlando

Emovis, a global expert in toll-based mobility products, services, and solutions, participated in the 2026 IBTTA Technology Summit organized by the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association (IBTTA), held from May 2–5, 2026, at the Signia by Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Florida, United States.

The Summit Hosts, the Central Florida Expressway Authority and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), welcomed attendees and supported an event focused on advancing technology-driven transformation in the transportation and tolling sector. For Emovis, FTE’s participation held particular strategic relevance, as the organization is an active client in Orlando, where Emovis currently delivers its Customer Service solution.

The Summit brought together more than 1,040 industry professionals to explore the future of mobility through the lens of cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connected vehicles, data-driven operations, and next-generation free-flow tolling systems. The event positioned itself as a key global platform where technology and transportation converge to redefine how mobility is designed, operated, and experienced.

At Booths 505 & 507 in the event’s Exhibit Hall, Emovis showcased its integrated portfolio of free-flow solutions, including Emovis Identify, Qualify, Verify, Transact, and Interact. The booth featured a highly modern, impactful design that maximized visibility, encouraged engagement, and enabled fluid conversations throughout the exhibition space. More than 200 white papers were distributed, complemented by a curated selection of corporate merchandising items, including tote bags, tumblers, luggage tags with AirTags, and speakers.

A multidisciplinary team of 10 experts represented Emovis:
Marc Deflin (Chief Sales Officer, North America), Darius Eshragh (SVP Business Solutions, North America), Jason Stein (VP Business Development, North America), Tamara Jordan (VP Business Development, North America), Miguel Melchor (Growth, Market Development & Public Affairs), Balaji Calluru (Senior Technical Product Manager, North America), Deepti Ramakrishna (Chief Operating Officer, North America), Andrew Clayton (Program Manager, North America), Megan Reynolds (Chief Legal Officer, North America), and Hannah Karimipour (Senior Legal Counsel, North America).

Throughout the event, the Emovis team engaged in high-value networking sessions and strategic discussions with transportation authorities, toll operators, agencies, partners, and colleagues from both the public and private sectors across the global mobility ecosystem. These interactions enabled meaningful exchanges on industry challenges, allowing stakeholders to address key topics such as revenue protection, digital and operational transformation, and the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies applied specifically to free-flow tolling. The Summit also highlighted opportunities to collaborate across the evolving transportation landscape.

Marc Deflin said: “Engaging with global transportation leaders in Orlando allows us to understand their operational challenges better and demonstrate how Emovis’ solutions deliver real impact in revenue protection, efficiency, and customer experience.”

Emovis’ participation in the 2026 IBTTA Technology Summit reinforces its long-term strategic commitment to leading the transformation of global toll-based mobility through innovation, collaboration, and technological excellence.

As the transportation industry moves toward increasingly intelligent, automated, and data-driven systems, Emovis is leading the way with scalable solutions that improve operational performance, protect revenue integrity, and enhance the end-user experience.

The Summit served as a powerful demonstration of the importance of cross-industry collaboration in shaping the next generation of mobility infrastructure. It further strengthened Emovis’ relationships across the global transportation community and reaffirmed its role as a trusted partner in advancing the future of free-flow tolling worldwide.
