Advancing the future of transportation, September and October were pivotal months for Emovis, as the company reaffirmed its global expertise in toll-based mobility by actively participating in three key industry events in the United States: the IBTTA 93rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition (Denver), MBUFA National Conference (Washington, D.C.), and WTS South Florida Scholarships & Awards Gala (Fort Lauderdale).
These engagements reflect our vision to foster a more efficient, innovative, and human-centered mobility ecosystem, in collaboration with leaders who are transforming the transportation industry.
Making an Impact at the Industry’s Largest Global Event
The 93rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition of IBTTA, held from October 11–14, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, provided the perfect platform for Emovis—as a Platinum Sponsor—to showcase why it is a global leader in toll-based mobility solutions.
Over the four-day event, our 15 experts welcomed attendees at our vibrant Booth 201, connecting with transportation authorities, industry colleagues, and leaders to share knowledge and strengthen strategic relationships.
Every interaction offered participants the opportunity to explore Emovis’ innovation through a practical and forward-looking lens. Throughout the event, our team highlighted how Emovis technology is redefining mobility via our four products, ensuring accuracy, intelligent decision-making, and seamless transactions, while also demonstrating how our solutions deliver strategic impact in revenue protection, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Notably, on October 12, Deepti Ramakrishna, SVP of North America Operations, participated as a panelist in the session “Leveraging AI Across the Toll Industry”, sharing insights on how artificial intelligence enhances operational and workforce efficiency. Her participation underscored Emovis’ ability to turn technology into tangible competitive advantages and direct improvements to the user experience.
“Participating in IBTTA’s annual meeting allowed us to demonstrate our expertise in toll-based mobility solutions that strengthen operational excellence and revenue protection for our clients. We connect, learn, and share best practices that drive the industry toward the future,” said Christian Barrientos, CEO of Emovis.
Supporting the Evolution of Road User Charging
At the MBUFA National Conference 2025, held on October 22 at the District Architecture Center in Washington, D.C., Emovis participated as the Opening Reception Sponsor, reinforcing its active role in advancing innovative road-funding strategies in the United States and reaffirming its commitment to developing sustainable “pay-for-what-you-use” models.
Marc Deflin, COO North America at Emovis, represented the company during the event, attending the “Fair Miles” presentation by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, a project successfully operated by Emovis.
“Being part of MBUFA strengthens our commitment to developing fair, efficient, and sustainable solutions under the ‘pay-for-what-you-use’ principle. At Emovis, we believe the future of transportation is built on collaboration and innovation,” highlighted Deflin.
Celebrating Leadership in Transportation
As a Strategic Partner of the WTS South Florida Scholarships & Awards 2025, Emovis joined an evening dedicated to recognizing leadership, professional excellence, and the diversity of talent driving growth in the transportation industry.
Deepti Ramakrishna, Tamara Jordan, Julie Salinas, and Megan Reynolds represented Emovis at the event on September 26, 2025, at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, which celebrated the sector’s commitment to professional development and acknowledged the contributions of those shaping the future of mobility.
The event was a source of inspiration and connection for our team, reinforcing Emovis’ vision to advance a smarter, more collaborative mobility future, where innovation and human talent drive progress.
Innovation and Collaboration That Endures
Through each participation and sponsorship, Emovis once again reaffirmed its commitment to actively contributing to the industry, fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange, and new opportunities for collaboration.
We will continue to engage in the world’s most influential mobility events, promoting innovation and collaboration as pillars of progress in the transportation industry.
